Return & Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing Madison Mulch Delivery. We take pride in beautifying landscapes across Dane County. Because mulch is a bulk organic product and our services involve custom labor, we follow this policy:
1. Delivered Goods & Services
Delivered Goods: Once mulch has been delivered to your property, it is considered a final sale. Due to the nature of the product and local regulations, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds on bulk goods once they have been unloaded from our trucks.
Services Rendered: All spreading and landscaping services are non-refundable once the work has been performed.
2. Cancellations & Pre-Delivery Refunds
You may cancel your order for a full refund if you provide written notice at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date.
How to Cancel: You can submit a written notice through our website contact page or email us directly at info@madisonmulchdelivery.com.
Urgent Requests: For urgent matters or cancellations within the 48-hour window, please call us at 608.286.8760. Please note that cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery may incur a restocking or administrative fee.
3. Property Damage Disclaimer
Madison Mulch Delivery uses heavy equipment for deliveries and spreading. While our drivers and crews take great care, the customer assumes all risk associated with the delivery.
Liability: We are not responsible for damage to driveways (scuffing, cracking, or staining), sidewalks, curbs, lawns (ruts or compaction), underground utilities, or irrigation systems.
Site Prep: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery area is clear and can support the weight of a commercial truck.
4. Weather-Related Delays
Safety and quality are our priorities. In the event of extreme weather (heavy rain, lightning, or snow), Madison Mulch Delivery reserves the right to reschedule your delivery or spreading service.
If we must delay your service due to weather, we will contact you to set a new date as soon as conditions allow.
Rescheduling initiated by Madison Mulch Delivery due to weather does not entitle the customer to a refund outside of the standard 48-hour cancellation window.
5. Refund Process
All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
Credits: The refund amount will be the total paid minus any promotional discounts, coupons, or credits applied to the order.
Timeline: Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.
